Hey all and Asalamu alaikum. It has been ages!!! I have been very busy being a mom and and preparing for my baby to be born soon! Also I am moving to a new place.So don't think I have neglected my blog.I just don't have a whole lot of time.I hope all you guys are doing fine! *Team spirit*

Asalamu alaikum and hey everyone!Hope you guys are doing well and enjoying the summer sun.The heat I am not enjoying lol.I like summer but hate it when it gets too hot.Anywho.I am back with a look for ya'll. I hope you like it.The colors I used in this one was from the NYX trio eye palette.It is called Team spirit.I am gunna title it that because I don't know what else to call it lolz so I will use the name nyx gave the palette of the colors I used. hehe(If you have a suggestion as to what to call the look please feel free you leave a comment :)

*Ok so this time I used Too Faced shadow insurance as an eye primer.This was used to make the eyeshadow not crease and last all day.

*Next I applied the blue to the lid.

*Then I applied what seems to me to be a golden yellow color to the crease .

* I applied the pink just above where the yellow gold color ended.

*As a highlight to the brow bone i used NYX beige color*

**It is better to apply the makeup with makeup brushes.It easier to apply it with.It is also to blend the colors so that there will be no harsh lines.

*For the eyeliner I used Linear Intense liquid eyeliner above the lid*

*I then applied Prestige lash matrix mascara.

*I took the same blue I used for the lid and applied underneath the waterline and took the golden yellow and applied it to the inner corners.

*For the eyeliner I used Urban Decays 24/7 eyeliner in zero(I use it in all my looks because it lasts a long time compared to other eyeliners.


That completes the look for this post.I hope u enjoy the look.And try it out.Don't be afraid of a little color.I know a lot of people just like the neutral colors but summer time is for bright bold colors so be bold and experiment! I am pretty sure you will like the outcome.

*Lemon-Lime*

Asalamu alaikum and hey everyone!.It has been awhile since I last uploaded a look.I have been a busy bee.My daughter is teething.She has been on the cranky side for the past 2 weeks.But now I am back with a new look.This look is more of a soft look.With greens and yellow.I could have made it more brighter but I wanted to do a softer look.Hope u enjoy!!!


*First I started by appyling Urban Decays Primer potion to make the eye shadows stick and will make it last through out the day with out creasing.

*Then I applied mineral pigment called Logic(yellow) by Heavenly naturals on my eyelids.

*Next I applied mineral pigment called Lime by the Mineralista(does not make makeup anymore)just above the crease touching the eye bone.

*Then I applied Kiwi on top of the color lime but not fully covering the lime color to give it contrast.

*Then I applied Inked which is the darker green to the outer corners.Also from the Mineralista.

*As a highlight I applied white metallic by coastal scents 88 metal palette.

*I applied Loreal linear intense liquid eyeliner over the lid.

*For the lashes I used Maybelline the colossal Volume express mascara.

* Under my eyes I used inked again (darker green) and logic(yellow) for the inner corners.

*Lastly I applied Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero.

Tootie Fruity

Hey all And Asalamu alaikum.Finally uploaded a new look.I wanted to do more to the look but was in a rush to leave this morning to run some errands.I will probably do another version of this look later on.For now I just went for a simple summer look. I named it Tootie Fruity because when I did this look it reminded me of candy or those sherbet ice cream that sometimes comes together in orange and raspberry. lol. I dunno maybe it is my pregnancy cravings kicking in lol. I hope you enjoy the look.

*For this look I started off using Urban Decay primer potion, to make sure that the eyeshadow stays throughout the day and does not crease.

*Then I used the creative me palette #1 by coastal scents. (The hot pink for the lid,light orange for the over crease and dark orange to the outer corner.

*For the eyeliner I used Loreal Linear Intense in black.

* For Mascara I used Maybeline (its the yellow fat one dont have it in front of me lol)

* I used Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil in Zero(black) for the waterline.

*Tropical Peacock*

Hey guys and Asalamu alaikum! As promised I am debuting my first makeup look that I created! Yay! It is called Tropical Peacock.Usually peacock colors are blues,purples and greens.But with this look I created a little twist.I added hot pink to add more of a tropical affect and a hint of yellow to the inner corner which blend in with the green.This would make an awesome summer look! Hope u like It!


* Two of the products that I used were mineral makeup.The green and blue were from the minerlista.Sadly she retired.Boo I really loved her makeup line.

They are awesome and If you are a makeup lover who is on a budget then this is the perfect makeup to get.

Still Getting things together

Still getting things together.I did take some photos of the look I created today. I will be uploading soon.The title of the look is called Tropical peacock.Really excited about it and I love how it turned out!I am trying to find the USB wire to upload the photos.Once I find it then I can finally get busy! Hi everyone! And Asalamu alaikum to my muslim sisters.
Wow I finally got the time to start a blog lol. Well My name is Mary or Maryam.I am a Puerto Rican Muslim. You must be like how rare or if your not Muslim probably confused lol. Its ok.I am a convert for about 8 yrs now.Anyone can become Muslim .It doesn't matter what race you are.Just in case your wondering.I love it and I am proud to be a Muslim.Its tough to be Muslim these days because the media portrays all Muslims to be terrorists which is not true! We are a peaceful religion.The Muslims who are doing these things are in the wrong and take things to the extreme.

So enough rambling and let me tell you why I started this blog. I started this blog because I really love makeup.Call me a makeup fanatic if you want lolz.Yes Muslim women love to wear makeup well at least some do.We love beauty and fashion believe it or not.Just because we cover ourselves from head to toe and even the face does not mean we are oppressed.In fact it raises our value as a woman and make us feel more beautiful than ever instead of exposing our bodies for the world to see.It save us the whistles and crude responses from strange men.If anything what we wear people respect us even more.Especially men.Our beauty is only reserved for our husbands.Who else should we show off to? No one else matters but Allah(God) who is the reason why we dress the way we do and for our husbands.Our beauty is only for our husbands and I think for this reason is what makes Muslim woman so honorable and beautiful.
